The Future of Digital Media & Data-Privacy
Impacts on Society, Work and Lifestyle
Monday 27 June 2022 - 7 pm
Salons des Arts et Métiers
Our high profile speakers will explore the major trends shaping the future
digital media landscape. They will discuss from a variety of angles the coming changes in digital marketing, PR and advertising strategy, online news and information,
Social Media, as institutions, startups and major companies adapt to the new rules of the ever-changing Internet.
Advertising has been the lifeblood of Digital Media. Digital ads offered search, news, information, social networking services and powered the growth of
Facebook, Google, Twitter without charge. In exchange, people’s personal data was used to target them with relevant marketing.
Privacy has become the biggest challenge of our generation. With legislations to regulate the use of AI and protect personal digital rights implemented from California to China,
after Europe's 2016 General Data Protection Regulation, what challenges confront large firms? How must they change the way they communicate online? How can they reorganize their
digital strategy to cultivate trust with users, and insure privacy and safety? How will the Internet pay for itself?
Intelligent Systems, Privacy-Preserving AI, Cookie-less, Responsible Data, Micro-Personalization, Metaverse, Encryption, Disappearing Content, Remuneration for users' data, Subscription
fees… How can new tech acquire insight from data without appropriating the data itself?
What new customer-driven innovations and responsible information sharing devices are being initiated? What's next in digital media?
